Dr Sotirios Foutsizoglou
Dr. Sotirios Foutsizoglou is a highly accomplished Consultant Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgeon based in London, UK. He won the 2023 Aesthetics Awards for Best Surgical Result and has been nominated for Best Consultant Surgeon of the Year from 2021 to 2023. He is on the GMC’s Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and has held significant NHS consultant positions. Dr. Foutsizoglou is a Fellow of multiple prestigious organisations, including the Royal College of Surgeons of England and the European Board of Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery, and is a full member of various professional associations in the field.
Dr Sotirios Foutsizoglou
Dr. S. Foutsizoglou has completed numerous fellowships and clinical attachments worldwide, specialising in Oculoplastics, Facial Reanimation, and Aesthetic Surgery. He holds a postgraduate Diploma in Breast Reconstructive Microsurgery from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where he also gained experience in supermicrosurgery and lymphatic surgery.
Before studying medicine, he excelled academically, graduating as valedictorian in Mathematics from the University of Athens and earning top honors in his Master’s degree in Biostatistics.
Fluent in five languages, Mr. Foutsizoglou is passionate about teaching, having tutored medical and pharmacology students at City St George’s, University of London, and contributed to clinical governance, research, and professional development.
